Review
The 80s Game With Martha Quinn offers sheer fun and entertainment to those lovers of the 80s. Developed by Funkitron, this new release is about a trivia game comprising more than 3,000 questions divided into many categories within four game types: Free Play, Challenges, Versus and Episodes. The game has been created using the face and voice of the famous MTV video jockey Martha Quinn; that is the reason why the game takes her name in its title. Before beginning to play the game you have to choose you “inner ‘80s persona”, and you can make your choice, for example, between Madonna, Bono, or Genesis among many others. This is followed by choosing a game mode and a category: video games, Saturday Night Live, talk shows, toys, TV series, and so on. And finally you get the questions and you must answer correctly if you want to get points and bonus questions asking you more precision about the year when that particular event took place. Of course the answer is always some year around the ‘80s. The game is very attractive for lovers of pop culture knowledge about the 80’s icons. But it may have a limited appeal for anyone else. Regarding the operating system requirements, it runs smoothly with Windows 98 or any upgraded version. The developer offers a free trial version and a full version with no restrictions for $19.95. |
